SUMMARY:Alaskan Road Trip - Day 11
DESCRIPTION:Today is Day 11 of our trek to see Alaska.  Not many stops\, but probably the most important (and nerve-wracking) day so far.  I know of only one gas station\, and it is a long dirt road.  I do have extra gas cans\, just in case. \nThe plan: \n\nWatch my gas gauge like a hawk\, stressing how much is being consumed and freaking out if there is a hint of it taking more than I had calculated.\nHide this stress from my wife so she can enjoy the drive.\nWatch out for large animals\, like bison.\nSambass Deh Falls Territorial Park\nBlackstone Territorial Park

SUMMARY:Alaskan Road Trip - Day 10
DESCRIPTION:Today has some serious highs and one great big low.  First\, we are now so far north that there are no more snakes!!!  I hate snakes; they ruin a perfectly good hike in the woods.  We are also in Yellowknife.  But the bad part is laundry day.  We should have packed disposable clothing. \nToday’s views: \n\nBristol Monument\nMcAvoy Rock\nTD Bank Log Cabin\nYellowknife Visitor Centre\nBush Pilot Monument\nNorthwest Territories Legislative Assembly\nYellowknife Mining and Geological Museum\nCameron River Crossing Territorial Park\nHidden Lake Territorial Park and Cameron Falls trail\nLaundry and the farthest north Walmart in all of Canada (second farthest north in the world)
