Sixteen days of travel and exploration, and we will finally step foot in Alaska.  It has already been a long journey, but we have barely begun.

The itinerary for today:

• Explore the very remote, and very much abandoned ghost town of Forty Mile Heritage Village
• Cross into Alaska at the border station located on the Top of the World Highway
• Chicken (a town)
• Mukluk Land
• Tok River State Recreational Site
