Years ago, when we discovered the joys of travelling, we stumbled upon a Doors Open site. I had planned to visit a site without knowing about this free event. Since then, Doors Open has been a priority event.

Sadly, as with many other volunteer-run organizations, COVID-19 took a toll on this event. Doors Open was hit particularly hard but is now recovering and starting to regain its former self.

I intend to visit as many Doors Open sites and cities as possible. Instead of creating many maps featuring free sites to see, I have put them on one map. More sites will be added as the event dates approach.

Check out the official Doors Open website for more details on each location.
