When Charlene and I are unsure what to do while sitting at home and when the day gets late, there is always the opportunity to watch a sunset.

We have been to many places, but if we want to see a sunset close to home, we always head to Collingwood. We have been there several times, and it is relatively close to watching a sunset, and it has never disappointed us.

It is never a surprise to see the crowds gathering at the two best locations in Collingwood to see the sunset. There is something very calming and regenerative about watching the sun sink below the horizon. This one act, shared with the one person who matters so much, makes the day and all the troubles it held disappear, out of sight, like the sun does every night.  

  • Millennium Park and Sunset Park are the two popular spots for sun-worshippers.
  • There are recently installed parking meters at these locations. I am uncertain if one has to pay around sunset.  
  • Come early and remember your sunglasses.
