I had never heard so much screaming in my life. My mother was pleading to leave this place. My wife was frantic with the events that were going on. My first and only thought was, “Let’s bring the grandkids here!”

We visited Parc Omega in 2022 where we brought my Mom on the trip with us. It was an experience I will never forget. Mainly because of the screaming, but also the animals coming to the car to be fed. There were majestic elk standing sentry on the roads where we had to pay a toll in carrots before letting us pass.  Deer of all shapes and sizes tolerated us petting them as we shovelled carrot after carrot to them.

Incredible.

Now my three grandchildren are at the age where they are old enough to appreciate and remember a trip like this. I built this three-day itinerary where we have a few places to tour before and after Parc Omega. One place is a horror-themed coffee shop. We visited there back in 2022 on the same trip with Mom, now we go there to see how the kids will react.

The itinerary is below and is viewable by pressing the “Download” button.  I only need to find the right time to go. Likely this will be in August since much of July has my wife and I touring the West.  The Google Map for this trip can be found following this link.

Whenever I am driving, I wear large, wrap-around blue sunglasses. These are great at preventing glare and reflection. Plus, bright lights trigger migraines, and I can never think of a reason why I would want one of those. I had little idea how I would…
