Today is Day 11 of our trek to see Alaska.  Not many stops, but probably the most important (and nerve-wracking) day so far.  I know of only one gas station, and it is a long dirt road.  I do have extra gas cans, just in case.

The plan:

  • Watch my gas gauge like a hawk, stressing how much is being consumed and freaking out if there is a hint of it taking more than I had calculated.
  • Hide this stress from my wife so she can enjoy the drive.
  • Watch out for large animals, like bison.
  • Sambass Deh Falls Territorial Park
  • Blackstone Territorial Park
