Drive along the Alaska Highway, and you will encounter one of the most unique places in the world. Everything is evident in this picture.
The picture is an usie we took while sitting on a bench in what would be described as “in the middle of nowhere.” It is unique in that it is no ordinary bench. The bench forms the border between the nations of Canada and the United States of America. I am sitting on the Canadian side, and Charlene is on the American side.
Not only that, but I am also in Yukon, and Charlene is still in Alaska.
There is even more!
Even though we are shoulder to shoulder in this picture, we are an hour apart. The bench also serves as the marker between time zones.
It is also one of the few border crossings you can freely walk about.
It’s a pretty cool location and a pretty cool pic.
