This is what I call a Mini-Stop: a place to stop, snap a pic and off you go on towards your next destination.

Here is where I took a picture of my wife when we stopped on our way to Alaska. Unlike many other mini-stops that we have been to, this one can easily be expanded to a full stop because there is a tourist information centre, a gift shop and an art store that share this parking lot.
