It was the last day of school, and I arrived in my school bus, waiting for our turn to unload. I took the time to thank the kids for being a fantastic group and wished them a great summer. Somebody mentioned stickers.
A couple of weeks ago, I handed out stickers to the bus and was deemed the best bus driver ever! Today, I had to remind the kids that I had no more stickers, but I was grateful for their amazing behaviour on the bus throughout the entire school year.
One boy did not like my answer. He wanted more stickers. I told him that stickers for an entire busload of children are very expensive.
Again, not liking that no one was getting stickers, he made a suggestion that I open a lemonade stand. I can make lots of money selling lemonade, he insisted.
So, if you see me selling lemonade, please stop by and help me make lots of money to buy the kids stickers.
