The first state we ever visited was New York. The first place we went to see was a tourist area where we gathered every brochure they had for the state. They had a lot.
I finally went through them all and added them to my map – New York – Places We Want To See.
This has taken an extraordinary amount of time because I have collected many more brochures from every state we have passed through, plus we have been travelling. There is also this annoying thing called work, which uses so much of my time that I barely have time on my computer anymore.
Although the map is hardly a complete, comprehensive collection of places to see, it is a great starting point for planning our next trip. I will find more things to do in a particular area and will likely add these to the map. Meaning, this map will be evolving as we travel more and more.
