Life has a way of changing plans. I had to cancel our original summer vacation and discovered we could do it again. Because so many of the places we would visit in the first itinerary would be fully booked, I had to come up with a new summer quest.
I am okay with this.
I love planning vacations.
I love the research, the discovery of places worth seeing and then trying to figure out how to get as much as possible.
I dubbed this upcoming summer vacation America The Beautiful after the national park pass with the same name.
Much of the trip is in the USA, with only a tiny section in Canada. The Canadian section will be a repeat after a weather disaster a couple of years ago. Hopefully, we will be lucky to explore this interesting location this time.
