A text message grabs my attention on my trusty cellphone. I read it, and it is from my sister. She wants a trip planned and ready to travel to Gaspe, Quebec.

She wants to leave in a few days.

WOW!

Generally speaking, planning a trip takes as long as taking it. A one-week trip requires one week of solid research, planning, and replanning. Considering I had two full days, I needed to get a push on this if they were to start travelling very soon.

I devised a plan using my All The Places We Have Been To Map and taking notes from previous Quebec trips. Some of the challenges with this plan included taking an RV that tows a car and dogs. I had to skip places because I did not think there was a way to park an RV at the location. Another challenge was the date. Early June is not the best time to visit a tourist location because things do not open until July.

But a plan was devised, and I was impressed with how well it all came together.  The map of this trip is here.  I might even use it for myself someday.
