After 36 days of travelling, we deserve some candy. We will need it after today’s big walk. The plan:
On this Friday, we are heading east to get home. We need to be home in time but also want to see as much as we can. Our sites:
We are in some incredibly picturesque territory now. Our trip homeward from Alaska has this really beautiful section that we will be exploring. Itinerary:
Today we will pack up our campsite for the last time on this trip. From now on, we will be using motels. We need to cover distance, and setting up camp every night takes time; time that we could be driving and looking at sites.…
Rattlesnakes are plentiful in the area we are going – I absolutely hate snakes! Today will also be our last camping location; I suspect we will miss this aspect of our trip the most. Today’s itinerary:
Today is our 31st day of travelling. It is hard to believe we have been gone for an entire month. Our journey home will include these stops: And if I forget, Happy Birthday to my sister, Carrie!
We enter Montana and will spend the rest of our return journey from Alaska driving through the States. Our plan for today:
