I had been wanting to visit Cleveland for some time now, and we finally had the opportunity to have a weekend visit to this Ohio city on the shores of Lake Erie.  Although there is plenty more to do in Cleveland, we only scraped the surface of what is on offer.  This is the itinerary for a small getaway from a Friday to Sunday.

Much of what we visited was free or became free because we already had a membership.

Places that we visited included:

  • Squire’s Castle
  • Buttermilk Falls
  • Cleveland Cultural Gardens
  • Rockefeller Greenhouse
  • Cleveland Botanical Gardens
  • Cleaveland Museum of Art
  • Lake View Cemetery
  • Wade Memorial Chapel
  • Punderson Lake State Park
  • James A. Garfield N.H.S.
  • Stearns Homestead
  • B.A. Sweetie Candy Company
  • Buckland Museum of Witchcraft and Magick
  • Paine Falls Park
  • The BIG Rocking Chair
  • Barcelona Beach Harbor
  • The Holden Arboretum
