I would prefer a better day than Friday the 13th. I have an eye doctor appointment and might get a needle in the eye. It should be fun; at least, that is what I am told.

Since we have the afternoon off, I decided we must do something Christmasy. After I am done experiencing the joy of an eye injection, we will leave to see Rochester, New York.

Rocking Around the Christmas Tree at the ROC is the title of our newest excursion into this great world. We will be exploring museums and other places, but we will also be doing something we have not done in a while: touring neighbourhoods for Christmas displays.

When we first started traveling during Christmas, one of the main events was going to various cities and towns and finding the best-decorated houses. Some people go all out and spend thousands on being the best house on the block. We appreciate the effort and marvel at their time and expense in dazzling us during Christmas.

Here is the map of where we are going. I included another map that I found showing Christmas houses in the Rochester area. I hope to see many others enjoying this season.
